Ads-b Reception, RSP1A vs FlightAware Pro Stick Plus

Hi,

I'm new to SDR, so sorry for the dumb question. Could FlightAware stick be better for ads-b than the Sdrplay rsp1a, since it's designed for it? Assuming that i use a proper filter in the rsp1a (the Pro stick plus includes a built-in one).

"Built for it" is subjective. Do we know the FA stick is more than just an SDR? I purchased a "made for ADS-B" dongle several years ago. I believe it's nothing more than a stock RTL with a different case.

The blue one has a 1090 filter built into it, so if you need filtering that will make a difference. I'm not sure there is much difference between the orange one and and regular RTL.
