DSDPlus - Audio input device open failed after Windows Update

Been running UniTrunker and DSDPlus for quite a long time now without any issues.

Any time a Windows 10 build update comes along I have to use ZADiag to reinstall the RTL driver, but that's OK.

Two days ago however 1803 came along and now I seem to be having an issue with DSDPlus. "Audio input device open failed" is the error in DSD Plus.

I even removed and reinstalled the VB Audio Virtual cable with no fix.

The command line switch when launching specifies the correct input and output device.

I'm at a bit of a loss here now. Any tips?

Looks like the setting for "Allow apps to access your microphone" has to be enabled. Odd, but there you have it.

I don't know what version of DSDPlus you are running, but if you are running the latest FastLane it tells you specifically why it didn't start and then tells you specifically what to do to fix it.

Never had that happen until my machine updated a day or two ago. But it was an easy fix so I don't mind. I like that the microphone was limited. I dont' want any apps taking control of my microphone and camera without my knowledge. Hell, everything I have (including a phone) has tape over the cameras.
