Hoping somebody can help me with this.
I believe I'm doing something wrong or setting
something wrong.
Here is a video showing my issue.

https://youtu.be/_uqnSbPHOBw

The first 30 seconds is just to show that I can actually
receive a signal and it shows signal and audio quality.
After that, it show the actual air frequency. Also, I am using
a discone antenna

Set your modulation to AM instead of NFM

Edit: I see it's changed later in the video. Have you tried the default filter "Blackman-Harris 4" ? (and no shift)

Agree - no need to use shift.
Also, I'm curious why the waterfall shows such a narrow carrier? It should be (set to) the same width as the transmission in the spectrum window.

At 00:52 there's a transmission that does take up around the amount of width it's set to. Perhaps it's poor reception for the rest? I didn't even notice the bandwidth setting the first time I watched so that's a good catch

OK.. so the comments here have made me go back
and review my settings. Apparently, I had the "Filter Audio"
option, in my audio tab, turned off. I think I did that when
I was trying to listen to DMR channels

Thank you guys

What exactly is the "Shift"? What does it do?
I thought it was a fine tuning to adjust PPM

https://www.rtl-sdr.com/sdrsharp-users-guide/

That will explain it best. If you're wanting to adjust the PPM, there is a setting for that by clicking the gear icon at the top. It's the last option in that dialog. It's best to adjust the PPM on a known frequency that you receive loud and clear(Weather for example)

Got it. Boy was I off on a branch there!

If you noticed, I opened up that window in my video
to show the Freq. Correction (which mine is actually
set to -1ppm) Not sure why it was set to 0 in the video.
But again, my thinking was that it worked with the main
Correction and it was a real fine tune.
See why I come to you guys for help?
Thank you again
