SDRuno Questions; Glitches ?

Hello,

Have a new SDRPlay RSP-2.

Have been playing around with SDRuno (among others).
Running it under Parallels on a Mac.

Not important but was wondering:

a. Anyone experience that it always seems to take a few open and closings of the program to get
it going ? Why ?

b. My Mouse wheel that I want to change the frequency digits with:

Sometimes it works, and other times it does nothing.
Restarting the program usually gets it going again.

Works fine, all the time, with HDSDL.

Any idea why ?

I see SDRPlay has the drivers on the MAC tab. I expected a MAC version of the program there too. You might be experiencing issues with running this program in a Parallels environment. One reason I have a PC and MAC. SDRUno works without your problems on a Win7, 3 core HP desktop.

Have you waited several minutes to see if the setup just takes longer in your environment?. Each start and stop might just be continuing the startup until it complete.

For your other thread about antenna selection the issue is using a program not directly written for the hardware leaves you at the mercy of the person who wrote the ExtIO plugin to include special hardware feature. Selectable antenna is not usually seen on other SDR receivers.

Also a good chance that computer resources for SDRUno and HDSDL are different so how well they perform (speed) and not glitch will be different.
