Beaufort County, N.C. or S.C. ? On rare occasions, Beaufort Co, NC fire dispatch has been logged here on 154.235 / DPL205 R.
One of the fire departments in that county reportedly uses 154.445 / 123.0 R for repeated tac purposes, which is the same freq / tone as Fairbluff fire, so listen closely if you're monitoring Fairbluff during enhanced signal conditions.
About 2 months ago, one of my scanners stopped on a medical dispatch for local Lincoln County on 155.160 / 107.2 . When I heard "Ayden" mentioned, I knew it wasn't Lincoln County, but Pitt County, NC (Greenville) instead on the same freq / tone. First time logged for their EMS channel from home.
>> I have one unidentified frequency and it is 154.655/054 DPL.
The correct freq would be 154.650, 154.6575 or 154.665. I don't have any previous info in my logs. I did get a brief hit on 154.665 / DPL054 R on Monday (09/22) morning, with law enforcement type comms. I do not typically run the Uniden 996s in narrowband mode when doing searches, so the correct frequency I heard may have been 154.6575.
(Rutherfordton and Spindale in Rutherford Co are now licensed for a few new L-E channels, including 154.6575 simplex, but I ruled that out for the source of my log since what I heard was through a repeater.)
