ABBEVILLE Co 800

I can't find anyone who can actually verify wheater the county uses 800 or not. Since there are more Digital Talk Groups listed than Analog I assume the Analog may no longer be used. Does anyone have any info on this matter. Pending any replys, Larry

Larry,

Abbeville uses the digital talkgroups on Palmetto-800. Abbeville FD was very active on TG 51616 yesterday during the thunderstorms.

I have not heard anything on the analog talkgroups for a couple of years.

I hear Abbeville on Pal 800 PD, SD, FD, EMS.

Also, unless I have been oblivious to this in the past, I noticed that Greenwood is dispatching EMS via Pal 800. Tones go out analog and voice traffic goes out PAL 800. Anyone else notice this?
