I'm trying to find some info about monitoring the local TV stations for my area (other than the obvious, turning on the TV) - WSPA, WLOS, WYFF, WHNS -Asheville/Greenville/Spartanburg/Anderson market. Is there anything that I can pick up on my scanner? Remote broadcasts, mobile broadcast vans, etc?

WLOS has a few channels licensed to Pisgah (go figure).

461.6500 - Repeater 1 [123.0 PL]
464.3500 - Repeater 2
463.7000 - Simplex

I've only logged a CWID on the first repeater pair, it IDs with a 123.0 PL. I think I've got some other notes floating around somewhere, I'll try and dig them out for ya.

I'mp pretty certain all the on-the-ground reporting teams use mobile devices and do not use any monitorable communications. WYFF is still licensed for repeaters in Greenville and Spartanburg on 463.900 but I haven't heard any traffic on that frequency.

The helicopters for WYFF and WSPA have been known to use the 800MHz SMR trunked systems on Paris Mountain in the past, but I don't monitor those systems enough to confirm that usage.

I am not aware of any studio remote feeds in the area.
