Spartanburg County Will switch to Narrow Band Wednesday Aug. 1, 2012 at 08:00am

They Made a Radio Announcement on Spartanburg County Fire Channel. about 12:00pm today.

All Frequencies will stay same. except they will operate on the narrow band.

and they will also have a TAC 3 and TAC 4 channels also.

As of Today at 08:00am the switch to Narrow band has been made. and from 9:30am till 10:00am they did Tone Test for each Dept and Rescue Squad so for everything is working.

Look like Spartanburg County made some change in their Tone encoder as the alert tone is no longer at the end of the tone.
