Trip To North Myrtle Beach on Thanksgiving

I made a contact with another mobile unit on 2 meters near Conway on Sunday. We were both stopped in traffic because of a freshly burned out motor home on SC-22 about 2-3 miles from US-501. In 30 years of being a ham, that is the second mobile to mobile contact. I might even take my CB out of the car. "NOT".. I failed to include the various fire department freqs that I passed through on the way from North Myrtle Beach to the upstate. I did use the Horry County/NMB info in the database. It was hilarious to hear all the problems at the Malls due to shopping rage.

I was also able to make use of new frequencies I programmed into my radio during while traveling Thanksgiving. Always fun when things work out.
