The North Myrtle Beach and Conway sites on the Palmetto 800 have rebanded. Will I need to download an update and custom program tables to monitor these sites? If so, can someone advise me where the download is located and how to custom program the tables? I'm using a Pro96 and Pro2096. I also have a Pro106 and Pro197. Will these radios require special attention as well?

Thanks for the help

With the pro96/2096 you need software to do it, the pro106/197 you can do either by software or by hand, my buddy and I did his 197 by hand.

The 197 and 106 you go into where you enter the freq, like stop on a talkgroup for the system in question, then press F2 edit it, once in there you enter the new freqs then save those, then scroll down to T-Tables put to custom then enter into it, then once in the T-Tables enter the following.

You will need to edit the TSYS(s) for SAFE-T that you have programmed, and drill down to the Custom Tables setting:

Enter the values below.

Lo Chan, Hi Chan, Offset, Base Freq, Step
0, 439, 0, 851.012500, 25.000
440, 559, 440, 851.025000, 25.000
560, 719, 560, 865.012500, 25.000
720, 759, 720, 866.000000, 25.000
815, 831, 815, 867.000000, 25.000
958, 958, 958, 868.975000, 25.000
961, 1022, 961, 867.425000, 25.000

You can put all these in, but in my expierence all you need is the first 2 lines in the above, this will fix your 106 and 197.

Thanks Larry and Wingmaker for the help. I use Win96 and Win500 software for programming my radios. Will the custom tables you posted work with my pro96/2096 as well?

If you only use the first 2 lines, the pro 96/2096 have only 6 lines in the table, so the 7 line table wont work, here is another one that is 6 line, that will work if you choose to,rather then just using the 2 lines as in my previous post either way will work, the 6 table one is in the first post on this if youd rather have the 6 line table. Whatever floats your boat brother. http://forums.radioreference.com/ra...2096-rebanded-motorola-trunked-systems.html:D the other thing he says in this post put the 440 table first, in my expierence it doesnt matter I have my psr 410 programmed with the first 2 lines as they are in my above post, and so does my friend in his pro 197 and it works fine, so its really whatever floats your boat.

Thanks for the help. I'm going to see if my 2096 works on the new rebanded sites on my next trip to Myrtle Beach SC.
