i'm in the highway patrol region 3 and i have my frequencies put in and talk group ids. my question is why does it stop on an id channel and i hear no audio on it? it does this more often then when i do hear them talking.
i live in six mile / central area. i'm using a rs pro-197 with win500 program
talk group id:
TROOP 3 ACE TEAM Group 61072 0 - if this is active, it's encrypted, and you can't monitor it.
TROOP 3 OPS Group 46000 0 - active during Clemson football games and other big events.
CH.37 GREENVILLE Group 48912 0 - this is now Ch. 37 TAC 6, active.
SC DNR Group 21552 0 - not active, DNR is on VHF conventional
REGION 1 DNR Group 6160 0 - not active, DNR is on VHF conventional
CH.36 GREENVILLE Group 20880 0 - very active
SPARTANBURG Group 21008 0 - very active, but many not be affiliated to the Western Upstate towers all the time
=ANDERSON= Group 21136 0 - very active, this is SCHP dispatch for your area
I-85 ACE OPS Group 21200 0 - LE Common 9, you may hear some occasional traffic on this talkgroup. Also program LE Common 8, 10, 11, 12 and 13.
CAR to CAR Group 29232 0 - Ch. 34 TAC 5, active - SCHP talk-around for your area
CAR to CAR Group 52304 0 - no longer active, replaced by 48912
SPECIAL OPS Group 30864 0 - no longer active, replaced by 46000
SHEP TRUCK Group 31504 0 - no longer active, replaced by 45744
WEIGHT UNIT Group 41424 0 - occasionally active
I-385 / I-26 Group 7536 0 - SCHP Ch 17 Laurens/Newberry - often patched to 7664 or 48944. Make sure you have the latest firmware that supoprts patches, or program all three of these talkgroups.
GREENWOOD Group 52176 0 - no longer active, replaced by 48944
STATEWIDE Group 6990 0 - typo. 6960 is LE Call Statewide
TASK FORCE Group 7344 0 - LE Common 3, occasionally active.
hey brian what do you mean by this:
It might be that you're not using the proper rebanding bandplan tables on your trunked system.
do i do this also for the highway patrol TSYS?
