NASCAR Frequencies - FCC Database

I must be missing something here... Had some time to kill at work so I though I would poke around the FCC database looking for some NASCAR info. I started with a known frequency of 464.6375 (Tony Stewart)... figured I would search it in North Carolina, find the licensee name... then search that for additional licenses. But nothing comes back for that frequency... also tried searching under South Carolina, Florida and Indianapolis with no joy. Tried it again with 467.0625 (Jeff Gordon), same result. If I do a licensee search for say... Hendrick Motorsports... everything comes back as expired. What am I missing here?

They may be licensed to Racing Radios or Racing Electronics, and "leased" to the teams.

Ah... interesting theory! That would make a lot of sense actually...

Bingo! A search for 'Racing Radios' comes back with all sorts of interesting frequencies under the callsign WPKJ425. Thanks for the tip!

I gave doing a nascar fcc nationwide search a try did find other ones as well

Thanks! One nice thing about MIS is that it's a pretty rural area. Come race weekend, pretty much all the RF in the 450-470 range will be from the track.
