I would like to use the functionality of ScannerCast's alpha tagging, but to do so would mean giving up control of the scanner(s) through other software like Win500 and bctool to Scannercast - only one com port assignment for one software package.
There are several COM port sharing applications available to create virtual COM ports to overcome the OS limitations which should allow ScannerCast to run collecting tagging data at the same time WIN500 is running controlling the scanner.
Does anyone have any experience with any of these virtual COM port 'splitters'?
