Radio to Computer Linking?

Are Radios Able to be linked to a computer? i would like to line into my radio from my computer so my radio transmits when the stream is active, i would like to link local skywarn to GMRS React, i am speaking with the repeater owners, so it's not an illegal rebroadcast

Will this work with a motorola maxtrac? and what software and cable would i need for a maxtrac to run this?

Scanners can do this; however, I have no clue about using Maxtracs (and evidently not many here do, either). You might have better luck in the Live Scanner Audio Yahoo group, linked below
