Using Aucadity and a recorded file, is their a way to determine if the frequency NFM or FM? A lot of FCC licenses for my area show NFM and FM during this transition to NFM. I have everything set to NFM in my scanner, but I need to know for sure for my Fire Tone Outs.

Thanks,

Tim K.

There's now way to determine the modulation type from an audio file. The short reason is the audio has already been demodulated by the discriminator stage in the scanner and is pure audio.
