Ok I am using a usb sound card for my feed, using the line out and having no problems. Today I bought another usb sound card (both the same sound blaster X Fi pro). On the second card, it will not allow me to use the line out. I have to use the external speaker jack on the back of my scanner. I have tried everything I can think of to get this working. has anyone else had this issue? Both cards have no issues as I have tested them independently. upon further inspection, it seems like my laptop is only allowing 1 line in, regardless of the source. I tried the internal sound card while the usb sound card was plugged in. Got the same results. Once I unplugged the usb card. It worked find for line in.. This is very frustrating!
