Hi,

I wanted peoples advice on re-broadcasting scanner feeds over the phone. I looked in to this one and got back mixed results. Does anyone know where I can possibly get more information on offering a phone number where people could call in and based on a menu listen to different feeds?

TIA

It's no different than rebroadcasting over the Internet. Go ahead.

The Communications Act is still law. It was not repealed. It was amended. The privacy provisions in Section 705 are still in effect, and have been strengthened for some radio services by the Telecommunications Act and other statutes.

There is a whole thread about legality of feeds in the Live Feeds forum.
