I am certain it is possible to capture the audio from the mic line and then push it out over the net but I would like to broadcast a feed that directly hooked to a computer that is used as an internet gateway to ham radio. I know I can gather the feed from the input side of the sound card quite easily then the radio traffic locally would be pushed out.
My thought is if a conversation was taking place over the internet gateway (IRLP) then only one side of the conversation would be heard. This way if it broadcast what is happening over the inbound and outbound audio this would not happen.
