I was looking for a way to let family and close friends be able to listen to my bcd436hp.

I saw that the radio feed 3.5 features included "Web Server - Servers a web page and serves real time audio and folders / files. Audio and folders / files can be password protected."

The scanner does not display on the web page when using radio feeds web server. Should it?

And when "Metadata: Scanning" displays what is being received on the scanner, there is a 10 second delay locally and on the web of the audio. And the audio does not correspond to whats on the scanner screen at the time.

Is this normal?

Should I see the scanner on the page and should the audio play whats being displayed at the time?

I know that when using the web server within proscan 8.7 it displays the scanner. And that way too, there is a delay in the audio, both locally and over the web. . The audio does not correspond to whats on the scanner screen at the time.

A feature request, for when clicking Listen Live

The url http://192.168.1.20:5001/stream.m3u opens windows media player.

The url http://192.168.1.20:5001/stream opens an embedded player a new page.

Is there a way you could have an embedded player show up on the web server page?

Every version of RadioFeed has the Web Server feature. I don't mean to split hairs but the way it sounded that it's a new feature.

Correct. That's not what RadioFeed is for.

There will be a delay if using a Media Player connected to a Web Server otherwise the delay should be just a few hundred milliseconds.

I've seen with all the Media Players that support metadata is the metadata is extracted before the audio network buffer. In other words, the text tags will appear before the audio.

It can now. Change the Operating System "File Association" to run what ever player you want to.

[EDIT] Windows Media Player doesn't support Metadata at least last time I checked. Winamp does and I think is much better then WMP.

.
Maybe down the road.
