Hi folks... I'm looking for a simple lightweight vox recording program. I've used scanner recorder with great success in the past, and it would work great now...but it doesn't let you pick which input you want to record from, which is a show stopper for me. Anyone have any other suggestions? (Other than Audacity?)

Thanks!

Do you mean "ScanRec" - worked well for me, although I haven't used it for a while - I don't even think it's installed on my current laptop. I seem to recall you have to use the standard windoze mixer to set up the inputs, there is no selection in ScanRec.

I guess that is a feature only in the pro version. I have two instances of it running and can choose which source to record from.

Yes, I've got that one.... But I've got multiple feeds coming into this PC. I'll try changing the default recording device under Windows and see if that'll do the trick. Thanks!

I *had* the Pro version at one point, but do you think I can find it now? Time to dig deeper thru my archives I guess!
