Radio Feed Metadata

I am trying to get a Uniden BCT-8 set up for streaming. The audio is working fine, but I cannot get the display information to work. I have successfully installed a serial port PCI card and have the scanner connected with a serial cable to COM3. I have tested the feed and an seeing no visual. Please help- this is my first time doing this, and I have included a screen shot.

Most common problem is the scanner is not in Remote mode.

Per the user manual on page 59
Press and hold RMT for 2 seconds to activate the Remote
mode.

Thank you so much! I now have the scanner in REMOTE mode and I am getting the flashing green light. Under test & extras I am seeing the data. I am NOT seeing the data on my stream yet, using Firefox or my iPhone. I am sorry for sounding like such an idiot, but this is my first time ever setting up a stream.

If you're using the Broadcastify HTML player you won't. I only see tags on my feeds when I'm using Scanner Radio Pro.

Right now my feed is only sent over my own website. It is not sent to Broadcastify or anywhere for that matter. When I open Winamp and open the url to my stream- I get the frequency or talkgroup in the little screen for Winamp in green letters.

Sunday I am connecting a Whistler 1065 to my stream. This will replace the BCT-8. I am hoping it is easier, but still am new at this.

All and any advice is greatly appreciated!

I see you are using an Icecast server. If using the Web Server feature then no need for a Icecast server.
