Setting up feed Questions

Hello,

Would like to know the following,

Can a feed be set up without using a computer?

Also if a computer is needed and I want to set up a BCD 536 what are the bare
minimums the computer needs to set up the feed?

Definitely...I use a Raspberry Pi 2. Just "GTS" (Google That *****). You will need a separate sound card for the Pi--they are $5 at most from E-Bay and a patch cord from the 536 ext spkr to the sound card. It won't use much internet bandwidth. I had an issue with my ISP dropping signals and had to reboot once or twice a week so I added a WiFi plug so I could reset it via my phone...changed ISP and don't have an issue--just in case you need it.

Just an FYI. Using the Wifi functionality of the 536 for a feed produces the highest quality audio due to no copper interfacing that can cause AC hum, noise pickup, over driving the sound input, no intermittent connections, etc. No cables involved at all!
