Everyone, I am pleased to announce the results of the Logo Contest. The following entries are "going to hollywood" for the RadioReference.com "Logo Idol" contest. Lets say when greenthumb wins, we choose this one. It's a great logo, but it doesn't exactly blend well into a white layout.

Anyway, I hope people realize that greenthumb's and others are two or three separate banners and not one big one. There should be some space between each icon so as not to confuse people making them think it is one banner. Also, it was mentioned, but only one of those connected banners will be chosen.

Just a thought.


Also, when were the try-outs and first rounds for this contest? I don't remember seeing anything about it.

Thank you R00t, that makes it much better to visualize how each banner will appear on the main page of the RR web site.


With all these changes and how they look on the home page, some people may now want to change their mind on which one they chose. Just a thought.

Yes, that helps.

I haven't made up my mind about which one I'll vote for, but it'll definitely be for a logo that matches the site right now. I can't visualize what the off-color logos will look like when color-adjusted.

So far I would have to say that this is a very bad showing as Mr. Loumaggs has not had anything to say about this yet, so lets sound off here, people what do you like, I myself like the Timinex as it shows the old, and the past always leads to the present, as a kid I can remember my Dad messing around with radios, dam him, now I must too. And I would say thanks Dad, This is something that I can enjoy my whole life and I am working on bring my Son into the fold. 73's.

I'll tell you what I don't like one bit about this poll is that say I like ONE banner from an entrant who has multiple choices but don't like their other entries and my second choice would be from someone different; at the close of the poll my number one man wins and then we have a spinoff of his entries and the one I do not like wins; that means in essence I originally voted for a "logo" that I disliked.
