What do some people think of the possibility of coverage maps for systems that are visible on this database? In theory, they would mainly be helpful for multi repeater sites and can be based off of the data in the ULS. I remember seeing these before but cannot recall where. Any ideas/comments?

I've been looking into doing something like this - however there are so many factors such as terrain etc that can impact cookie-cutter approaches to displaying coverage areas by height, location, and power.

yeah I see what you are saying but there may be a way to do it. I remember seeing somewhere these kinds of maps and with little graphical icons where the color indicated how well the data/voice channels are rcvd etc. I just cannot put a finger on where I saw it. My whole idea of this came because I live in northern Plano and want to be able to listen to my buddy at FWPD. I plotted all of the tower locations hoping one was lost way up by Plano :)

The FCC map is based on the "Area of Operation" that is requested by the licensee in KM.
It is not an engineering coverage map that utilized the HAAT and ERP.
