I get an authorization error on both win97 and the http://www.radioreference.com/apps/xml1.1/?ol=1 URL
in IE and firefox, it keeps rejecting my username/password.
win97 rejects it too.
And I've 10x checked its right.
My win97 is registered and paid for... no problem there
I've paid RR as a contributor... no problem there.

so win97 wont start the web import because it doesnt like my username/password for RR and the URL http://www.radioreference.com/apps/xml1.1/?ol=1 wont accept my username password for RR.
SO....

I'm stuck... what d I do now?

Remember that the password for the forums and the password for the site are supposed to be the same; however, sometimes this gets fouled up. Did you ever change your password in the UserCP? If so, did you then change it in the site User information area? I suspect that this "out of sync" problem is the culprit.

Junkie it is on your end. Every program I have is working just fine when connecting to the DB. You must have a different password, user name or both for the home page.

As I said before, they are different passwords, different systems; they are supposed to be the same, but they can get out of sync.
