Hi, I downloaded the NCPRN codeplug for the CS -750 and tried to open it in the CPS software version V3.03.28. This message is displayed: "Config is not match this CPS, Please use greater version CPS software!" How can I find out which version of the CPS software was used for that codeplug...

As posted above, is the CS750 still the best choice for monitoring a MOTO TRBO system if you don't know all the color codes and time slots? Also, has anybody heard about any new DMR amateur radios that might be announced at Dayton this spring?

My head is exploding here. Are there any serious differences functionality wise between these two? As i understand both does not support IP Site Connect. Or am i wrong? Both will NOT work with cap+ trunking, both will NOT be compatible with strong moto encryption. Or will they? I like 380's...

Do any of these import DMR radios like the CS750 or Tytera MD-380 offer voice privacy at least comparable to MotoTRBO Enhanced Privacy (40 bit) or ADP, preferably a little stronger? I know the CS700's I have only offer Basic Privacy which is a 4 hexadecimal key. So I'm guessing it is 16 bit...

There's a strong digital signal (probably at a corporate campus) near me that I believe DMR. Is there a way to use a CS700 to decode the audio without having any of the system information besides the frequency? Thanks! Mike
