CS750 - How to match CSI with codeplug?

Hi, I downloaded the NCPRN codeplug for the CS -750 and tried to open it in the CPS software version V3.03.28. This message is displayed: "Config is not match this CPS, Please use greater version CPS software!" How can I find out which version of the CPS software was used for that codeplug...

Is The CS750 Still the Best Choice For DMR Monitoring?

As posted above, is the CS750 still the best choice for monitoring a MOTO TRBO system if you don't know all the color codes and time slots? Also, has anybody heard about any new DMR amateur radios that might be announced at Dayton this spring?

    MD-380 vs CS750

My head is exploding here. Are there any serious differences functionality wise between these two? As i understand both does not support IP Site Connect. Or am i wrong? Both will NOT work with cap+ trunking, both will NOT be compatible with strong moto encryption. Or will they? I like 380's...

Import DMR Radio Privacy/Encryption Strength Question

Do any of these import DMR radios like the CS750 or Tytera MD-380 offer voice privacy at least comparable to MotoTRBO Enhanced Privacy (40 bit) or ADP, preferably a little stronger? I know the CS700's I have only offer Basic Privacy which is a 4 hexadecimal key. So I'm guessing it is 16 bit...

    CS750 KCMO Codeplug

Does anybody have a codeplug for a CS750 for the Kansas City, MO/KS area? I've got a trip over there next month, and would like to use my CS750 on DMR (since the St. Louis area is a DMR dead-zone). Thanks,

a tale of two low cost DMR portables

Thought I would write a non-TLDR version of a review of two low cost (sub $200) DMR radios, specifically the CSI CS-700 and Tytera/TYT MD-380. Owning both radios, I will say this: both are fine low cost entry level choices for HAM radio use. Both radios I bought included programming cables and...

    Tytera TYT/Tytera MD380 DMR HT

There is a new rig available for Mototrbo/DMR aficionados, the TYT/Tytera MD380 HT. It's a good looking and good performing little radio available for UHF and VHF. The MD380 has a color display, 1000 channels, a regular female SMA antenna connector and good audio. If you're interested picking...

    CS700 Digital Contact

I have 3 systems on 3 different frequencies using the same TG number. I programmed the TGID in digital contact. On the channel information screen, I added different channel names to each of the 3 as well as T/S and CC using the contact name of TG59 (the TG number). The problem is it always...

Use CS700 to monitor unknown DMR system?

There's a strong digital signal (probably at a corporate campus) near me that I believe DMR. Is there a way to use a CS700 to decode the audio without having any of the system information besides the frequency? Thanks! Mike

    CS700 DMR UHF Portable radio

Anyone on here tried the CS700 being sold by Connect Systems, Inc.? Looks like a neat portable for getting started with DMR and the price is certainly right. Untitled Document 73,
