Baofeng gt-3 as a scanner - new user
I have some experience as an old CB-er and some military experience (very antiquated) so I don't think I'm completely dumb but trying to set this radio up as a scanner for the local (south Texas area) has got me ready to go pull out the gin bottle. Baofeng GT-3 Alpha Tags
Can anyone share experiences with Alpha tags and the GT-3? As far as I can tell only the RT Systems software supports alpha tags. Maybe I just need to spring for their software AND cable. Any feedback would be appreciated. Charlie- CharlieKe
