maxtrac birdie 161.070

I have a like-new Maxtrac VHF 32 channel that I just got back from the shop for programming. I was dismayed to find out that it has a birdie on AAR 64 - 161.070. A quick Google search turned up other instances of this happening, but made no mentions of a fix or a workaround. Is there one...
