    Motorola Impres Charger

    Hello. I'm traveling with my Motorola XPR 7550e. I will have 220 volts but its adapter is 110v input (12v output). Would it be safe if I remove the adapter and feed the impres charger directly with a 12v car battery to charge the radio's batteries?
