power adjustment

hi i sold someone 2 Motorola maxtac radios and i believe he is going to use them for a repeater. he needs to lower the tx power and he said he cant get it to go down on one radio its at 50 +/- w he said that the radio is taking frequencys fine when programing. just the power issue. i am not to...
