rtl-1090

I am having issues receiving ADS-B signals via rtl1090 and by extension using Planeplotter. I am using the RTL-SDR V4 with a 1090Mhz antenna. I receive signals at that frequency(confirmed via SDRSharp) but I'm new to rtl1090 and planeplotter and don't know where to begin diagnosing my problem...
