unication g1 amplifier

I am thinking of tapping my G1 unication pager amplifier for my Broadcastify channel. But there appears to be only an "earplug plug" on the rear which disables the amplifier speaker. Although the manual shows an audio tap on the rear...it does not seem to work. Any suggestions how to tap...
