Crossbanding VTAC and UTAC Channels
Hope this is the right place for this: We have a bit of an interoperability problem where I am at. (Bet you haven't heard that before.) The LEO in the county are on UHF, the FDs and EMS are on VHF analog. I'm curious what the thoughts of some of the more seasoned radio technicians are on this...- K5DVT

VTAC
Just heard Oklahoma County fire companies "switching to VTAC 11". I've been hearing CWIDers on some of the VTACs so maybe I need to pay more attention to which are active. Per NIFOG, VTAC 11 is 151.1375 simplex. (Note that, if symptomatic, VTAC is often treated with cardioversion ... :D)- plaws
