It was a valid point though.
Curious, what mods have been done on the van? My wife drives a 2000 Dodge Caravan SE with IMS Rampvan conversion and EMC Digi driving systems equipment. Quite the hi-tech piece of driving machine.

Max...

Hey Max,

That certainly is high tech. I've been certified to drive the EMC but I do not need the digital controls so I'm not equipped with them.

This one's a 2006 Terraza sent on down to Braun for a 12 inch floor drop, automatic power ramp, kneeling suspension, 6 way transfer seat, Sure grip hand controls and just for the heck of it automatic windshield wipers. The van and conversion ended up coming in around $75,000. That's the reason I'll be ridin it till it'll ride no more.

The biggest problem I have in finding a vehicle is that I'm 6'2" so I need a bunch of head room in order to get in and the GM's are the only ones that end up with enough space--without going to a full size van that is.

Once it's back from Braun & I get all my radio stuff in it I'll put some pictures in the appropriate thread and let you know so you can have a look at it.

I guess in case anyone would like to know what these vans look like you can go and have a peek. Just click on the one that says General Motors. http://www.entervan.com/products/consveh/consveh.asp

This is a great read!

The GPS module for off star looks just like a bag phone! What the hey! It even has the same connector as the classic bag phones do. Its a 25 pin parallel type. Hmm. I smell a good EEPROM hack. he he.

Such a simple little piece of junk.

I wonder if "OFF STAR" uses WAAS or for that matter DGPS? You would think for the money you pay so that some one can tell you where you are the units would have this. I don't know if they do..yet.

Yes, it's important to know exactly where you are at within 5 meters.

Perhaps your on a trip and you pull over to water the grass and you have a heart attack.

======>>>New product ,On star necklaces! Yes, the latest rave using Blue tooth sent to the cars unit. <<<======

Just want to show how silly we are in this new era of mindless tech.

"OnStar here...We've detected that you've fallen and you can't get up"
Hmmm...Maybe a little zap to the ticker using the same commands used to unlock your vehicle when you safely lock the keys inside?
