Shavano Park Police and Fire

Just moved to Shavano Park and getting settled.

I want to confirm who dispatches for the city. I spoke with a Shavano officer the other day and he indicated the are dispatched by BCSO on West Patrol (9000 units).

However, I'm unclear as to who dispatches for the Shavano Park Fire. Is it BCFA?

affirmative - shavano fire is dispatched by bexar county fire alarm

Yes they just moved back to Bexar County for dispatching services a few months back. They were being dispatched by Helotes but for whatever reason they switched back to county again.

Also BCFA went ProvVoice except for the dispatcher who is in the clear

Haven't been in the Shavano area in awhile, do the pd units still use 155.835 as a talk around channel since they went back to being dispatched by county.
