There was a good tropo opening this morning. I picked up a federal P25 trunked system that I could not find in the database. It appeared to be coming from the SE of Wichita Falls.
Most of the frequencies are the same as https://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=3253

Can anybody in Fort Worth verify if it is still type II or if they converted to P25?
This could be something else further east. I'm not sure of the location.

Type Motorola P25 phase I
WACN BEE00
System ID 8E9
RFSS 1
Site 001
No neighbors
NAC 8E0
407.6125 a
408.2500 c
408.8125 a
410.5250 a
410.8125 v

I don't know if there are more voice channels.

Active TGIDs
1
5

Both TGID were not encypted.

Bumping this thread because history is repeating itself.

Great band opening this morning. I logged the following TGIDs:
1
2
3
5
20
None are encrypted.

Is nobody interested or capable of confirming if this system is actually at FCI Fort Worth?

I will take a listen Tom. I'm not far from there.
Thanks. The talkgroups I logged match up with the old system but I was not able to listen to voice traffic. I had reports from the Keller area that the control channel was weak there so it probably is the FCI.
