Ok, so youíre talking about the equipment part of GATRRS not the NexEDGE stuff. That makes sense.

MCore25 since you said this Connect + System 236 control point is All Points Communications
I will submit the needed changes to the RRDB, however being that this is a multi-city system.
I vote for calling it just All Points Communication (Connect Plus) an drop the "Of Austin" part right ?

Finally to stir the pot ... I wonder who would be a potential buyer for S & P Communications ?
S & P bought A B Communications right ? So would Industrial Communications byte on this chance
or would Dailey Wells be in a better financial position since they got the new SA/BC system contract ?
Travelled to OK today. Along the way I found All Points 236-3 to be in Temple, not Georgetown. DB is updated. Did hear a little Acadian traffic on TG 5040 too. Also located S&P 68-10 in Belton and added that as well. Locked into 68-1 and 68-12 as well but no traffic. I could not find any All Points 800 MHz activity in Waco even though their website shows a tower for coverage there.

Yeah, no connect plus. I wasn't close enough to Lampasas either to see if there was a CON+ site there on 800 either, but their webpage shows there to be one as well as Waco. No users in the area = No signal perhaps?

Connect Plus has a constant control channel.

Correct. Interstate 35 is littered with 2 sec burst CAP+ systems from SA to Waco and beyond, but there were no CON+ control channels in Waco on 800 MHz. I also heard system 486 (Communications, ETC) in Georgetown and 268 (Telepath) as far as CON+ systems go. The only way I would have missed it is if I inadvertently locked out a 800 mhz frequency before I drove through, but I am pretty sure I cleared all lockouts before taking the trip.

Interestingly, I did notice that Wear Radio's Type II analog system is still on the air after all these years. It is a wonder how anyone in McLennan County talks to each other with analog VHF, MOT 2 and a handful of P25 systems in use.
