02 03 2020 Databse currupt / Invalid make model? on HP-1

so.. went to use Sentinel update this morning and got this. D/L the package, it did its thing...connected the HP-1 (ver 2.06) and it (sentinel) crashes with the above (pics attached) error. Disconnected it and it still works, all the lists are still their and the main database can also be used.

I just updated my HP-1 with last nights DB pull and it updated without any issues.

Possibly a corrupt SD card in yours?

You version of Sentinel is a bit old. Mine is 2.03 "Revision 6" with a Copyright date of 2014 while yours shows Revision 2 with a Copyright date of 2011.

Ya I thought that too...so i cracked open a new card...went through the reinitialize/clear user data - and ...it still does it. This is actually the first time i've even had a problem with it. AMAZING for a Uniden product I know....

Hopefully the new sentinel version that I posted about will fix it! I did not notice that until you were trying another card.

Welp thanks for the hints..tried the new or newer sentinel...nothing...tried the original 2gb card that I dug out of the box from ~8 years ago that I had used for a week or so...that boots and runs but didnt update....sooooo I thought...TIME FOR THE "BUTTON"...noooo don't push the BUTTON!!!, don't do it...so I did...hard reset...and viola...works like its supposed to now.
