I love seeing all the mobile shack installs, so here are some pics of my 02 Explorer.

Setup:
- Yaesu 2900R Transceiver
- Uniden BCD996XT Scanner
- Larsen NMO150/450/800
- Larsen NMO2/70SH
- Havis console

Thanks everyone! I'm thinking of adding CB to the setup too. Just don't want to get a crazy long antenna. Wondering if they make a stubby one that gets okay range. We'll see.

Nice ride. Out of curiosity, how is your performance on what looks like a Larsen NMO2/70SH on the lip on the passenger side? Do you get any interference on your am/fm radio with the antenna located there when transmitting? Also do you run into any signal degradation with it being below the roof line? I have a silverado that I am planning on putting the Larsen NMO2/70SH in the exact same place for dual band use around town. I'll throw a mag on the roof for road trips. (I have to go in parking garages frequently and cant have anything on the roof unless it is about 4 inches tall.

For what i'm using it for it's been loud and clear while broadcasting at less than full power. I don't have any issues while scanning with the Larsen antenna on the other side at the same time. I can't speak for long distances though.
