I was trying to investigate some big event that is currently happening. I had missed the initial call, so wanted to see what was happening. When I went to the archives, the block of time containing the initial call was gone. First time I've ever seen that. Any ideas on how that could happen?

Which feed, and which time block are you looking for? As mentioned above, wait a while to see if it becomes available.

Also..... feeds are provided by volunteers with their own equipment, and in some sensitive or tactical situations, the feed provider may choose to turn off the feed for safety of first responders etc.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm looking for Westerville, Ohio Police, Fire & EMS from 12:28 to 12:58 today, February 15. Call is involving multiple agencies, so your theory about a sensitive tactical situation holds water.

If it's not uploaded now, you won't see it upload at any point in time. Try messaging the feed broadcaster and see if s/he has the audio saved on the computer used to feed.
