1/4" Phones Jack

For a project I am building, I need to know whether the R-71A's 1/4" Phones [headphone] jack is a Mono or Stereo and wether it is a open circuit type or a closed circuit type.

Phones mono or stereo?

Use any set - simply short across the L & R pins inside the plug, and it DOESN'T matter (mark them with a piece of tape, so you don't "zorch" that stereo of yours, when you try to listen to "The Doors"). Consult a schematic first - try ModsDK or BAMA, might be one there.
