I've never heard any traffic on it.

Second, 158.7900 PL 173.8 heard traffic on this today, licensed to Stark So, needs more monitoring to identify.

Did you actually verify by listening that the activity you heard was this particular agency? This could have been any number of licensed agencies in Northeast Ohio.

I ask because from my location I can hear 4 different agencies on 155.175.

I also hear multiple agencies 158.79, including:

158.79000 155.19000 173.8 PL KNBJ651 Youngstown PD Ch. 2

So, if you are just scanning and hearing new things, you might want to look them up in the database as they very well could be agencies in surrounding counties that you happen to be picking up, rather than the agency licensed in your county for that frequency.

The RR database has some problems...
I am using the FCC database and distance from site/license to correlate a possible match.
the one that is only 5-10 miles away is the better choice than the one 50 miles away.

I'll just go back to creating my own list which I know will be accurate since no one seems to want an accurate list here on RR. I am in Canton, and I heard nothing on 155.1750 with the incorrect PL, now I hear the ambulances just fine.

one down many more to go.
