1 stupid mistake

I just dont believe I did that, I came across a site that has 2 plans for hf antenna's. I THOUGHT it was measured in inches. I did NOT see the word FEET in there. Well, if you look at this page, go down to the 1st diagram, that is what I built, JUST finished. Build a Multiband Shortwave Antenna - Simple Shortwave Antennas for Shortwave Radios! . FUDGE, FUDGE, FUDGE, CHEESE AND CRACKERS, now I got a warped flag frame.. Shoot!!!

The website you used if full of mistakes like the "end fed half wave" attached directly to coax with no transformer or matching circuit. An end fed half wave is several thousand ohms and without a transformer with a 50:1 or greater (64:1 is common) you will loose much of your signal.

In general you would not try to run several half wavelength wires at different frequencies to the same feedpoint because some of the wires may resonate at other fractions of a wavelength and load down the feedpoint.
