If the city/county went with the MA/COM system it would be a waste of money. If I am not mistaken the county would have to pay the state a rental fee? I know Walkulla county was looking in to it at one time also. I wish the county would upgrade to APCO 25. I am a volunteer FF here in the county and it would be nice for us to upgrade.
