10.565 Ghz?

I have a strange question,

I'm trying to figure out where, and what, a signal is.

Every day my radar detector picks up a very strong signal at the exact same spot. It is showing up as 10.565 Ghz.

This area is in the middle of no-where, and there is nothing around at all. The only thing near that I can think of is a railraod tracks that run parallel with the hwy.

Is there something on the rail way system that would put out an emmision in this range?

It's just got me boggled trying to figure out what it could be, out in a remote area like it is.

I searched the FCC database for 10.5 - 10.6 GHz in IL
and got 76 returns, 2 of them in your county.

10525.000 KA42382 RS Radiolocation Mobile SANGAMON, COUNTY OF SANGAMON <Null> IL
10564.375 KSB97 MG Operational Fixed Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line Company, LP SANGAMON GLENARM IL

It could be one of those or falsing on something else.

The RS code is RADAR. If its RailRoad it could be a hobo counter.
