Stratford Police Codes

I disagree with the two sections of codes you have for STRATFORD POLICE - I listen to them all day, and the following is what I've deduced; Keep in mind that they use what I'll call a 'base code' and then a modifier. For example, a code 54 is pretty much anything motor vehicle related; 54-30 is a motor vehicle accident with no reported injuries, and a 54-01 is a motor vehicle hit and run.

They also say 'Signal', 'Code' and 'File' sometimes before the number, and they sometimes use them interchangeably when they shouldn't, as they actually mean different things, as in the case of '19' and 'File 19'... Anyways:

1..........Stolen vehicle
10-4.......... Transmission understood
File 5.......... Outstanding warrant
Signal 6.......... Activated burglar alarm
7-01.......... Out of service at headquarters
7-04.......... Out of service (meal or smoke break)
Signal 8.......... Clear and available
8-01.......... In-service / Departing from headquarters
14.......... Motor vehicle moving violations (many modifiers)
16.......... Stolen plates
18.......... Call headquarters / Call dispatch
19.......... Meet up with
File 19.......... Parole
22.......... Burglary
23.......... Shoplifting
24.......... Reported stolen
30.......... Location
35.......... Drugs / Drug activity
38.99.......... Domestic dispute
42.......... Disturbed person / Intoxicated person
43.......... Return to headquarters (Sometimes used in place of 19)
49.......... Off-duty officer (?)
52.......... Firearm
54.01.......... Hit and run
54.30.......... Automoble accident
54.40.......... Abandoned vehicle
54.99.......... Car blocking driveway
70.10.......... Suicide
80.01.......... Residential burglary in-progress
84.20.......... Out (meal / smoke break ?)
85.......... Adolescents
87.99.......... General complaint? Was used to describe complaintant after she was almost hit by a car.
95.......... Stop all radio traffic
Signal 95.......... Stop all radio traffic

Some other tidbits they say during communications:

'O.S.'.......... On-scene
'Triple-i'.......... Interstate Identification Index (FBI)
'Op'.......... Operators Drivers License
'Vin'.......... Vehicle Identification
'N.C.I.C.'.......... National Crime Information Center
'Prawn'.......... Paperless Rearrest Warrant
'M.I.R.I'.......... Motor Vehicle (Emissions compliance?)
'M.V.L.P'.......... Motor Vehicle (Registration compliance?)
