Anyone have the 10 codes for any or all of these agencies?

FD, SD, PD, EMS and SCHP

I would really appreciate them if you have them. Thanks, David

FPD and FCSO mostly use the common APCO 10 codes, but they also have a set of signals they use. Most of the time listening, if you know anything about law enforcement, you can figure out what most of the signals are.

SCHP is on the Palmetto 800 system and use common 10 codes

FD and EMS use plain english talk

Florence EMS uses the AMPDS (Advanced Medical Priority Dispatch System) codes for dispatch.

They're formatted like this example:
17-Alpha-2
First number is the major condition category. The letter refers to severity from A to D (A being least severe and D being most). The last number is for the subcategory.

In this example, 17-Alpha-2 means "Fall/Back Injuries, not very serious, Non-recent injuries". Frequently you can figure out the meanings of these codes as the dispatcher will give a "plain talk" description of the situation.

The following list of codes will help you understand Florence EMS dispatching.

On EMS, they will give the NAEMD call sign like 25B1, then they will talk plain english on desribing the call.

It's is National Academy of Emergency "Medical" Dispatch, out of Salt Lake City, Utah, www.emergencydispatch.org
