Heard what sounded like Islamic singing or prayer call on 10160 USB this morning.

11.990.00 Is an interesting station. Rap untill 1700, then Islomic Music till 1800, and Equador at night.

A slight hijack here....however....

11990 is a popular Kuwait frequency in the afternoons. Sometimes arabic programming, music and Qu'ran chanting (not singing - it's quite different - no music during the Qu'ran) are slipped in instead of the English.

2 different stations here, that use the same freq at different times of the day 73 Mike

That's an interesting catch. Hard to tell just what language that is, but the melody sounds more Mexican to me than anything out of the Middle East, especially not the Koran.
