106 issue, need help

I was manually adding in a new channel, when I accidentally did something incorrectly.
When the radio is in the scanning mode, I now have the number “4” flashing in the Bank of the #11-20 column. Does anyone have a clue how to get rid of it?

Hopefully this will show what I am talking about.

No problem. Just pressing FUNC then the number will turn on/off Scan Lists 11-20. If I remember right the number blinks when there is nothing in that particular scan list.

You are correct--I get going so fast on the keys sometimes that this happens to me often...
Clarky, what you did was turn on bank 14. The second set of scan lists (11-20) does not show the first (tens) numeral so 1 is 11, 2 is 12, 3 is 13, 4 is 14, and so on. To turn these on and off use the function key for the "ten" and the regular numbers for the scan list. For instance, to toggle scan list 12 on and off use "func" "2" which is what ScanVW suggested.

There are no "banks" on the Pro-106 so why use this terminology ?

Scan list? It's going to take some time to get used to lists as opposed to banks.....I think I understand what you mean though it has more to do with object oriented memory right? Not a channel,bank but can be anything scannable including a wild card search?!
