I had this problem from day one with this scanner and its the reason why I bought the Uniden 536. The problem is when I go to import a system using the scanner only by using set location I only get 2 sites downloaded. The first site and last site are downloaded but everything else in between is not. For the 1098 to be functional I need to use the EZ Scan software but thats a problem for me when I drive for a living. I go into Wyoming I need to find a rest area break out my laptop and download the sites for Wyolink then download it to my scanner all because the set location on scanner only downloads 2 sites. Very frustrating. I emailed Whistler about it they said they were able to duplicate what I said and they hope to have a solution soon. Lets hope so. Anyone else with a 1098 go to set location pick county select Colorado then Larimer ( service types dont matter ) the scanner will say 11 sites imported but go to program menu then edit system then to edit sites and I bet you only have two. The person I talked to over at Whistler wanted a video showing what I did and they did confirm they duplicated the same results on their radio and they would be working on a solution after the Holiday. Hope he meant Thanksgiving. Here is the youtube link: https://youtu.be/KPIjF3apVu8

Good catch - certainly a bug. Looks like it affects zip code imports as well. I was able to verify it on a county in a different state as well.

I rarely use onboard imports on the radios but instead (with some exceptions) prep for trips using EZ Scan - which, from what I just tested, imports the correct sites as expected.

Since you've reported this issue to Whistler, I'm certain a solution will be forthcoming.
